| A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing Jessica and Kevin's wedding at Hilton Head Country Club. They are from my home state, Ohio, so, of course, we had a special bond! Well, Jessica has opened her own photography studio in their new city, Houston. Imagine how delighted I was when she listed me as one of her inspirations on her blog! I live for creating images that blow my couples away...but this takes it to a whole new level. Good Luck, J! |

| And the rains came... Julie and Bill's January wedding was both a breeze and a challenge for me. It was a dark and stormy night as the story goes...and the Mansion was PACKED! There was not a spec of light or a private corner to be had for an intimate bridal session. And I searched in vain. Nevertheless...it was a brilliantly easy wedding for me. You know what made it amazing? No, light didn't pierce through the clouds and the sideways rain most certainly did not let up. It was Julie. She was so, so happy she was glowing. And it was Bill, he was excited like a five-year-old boy who just got a new bike. There were people everywhere...trying to stay out of the rain, but Julie and Bill, they were focused on one another. It was as if I wasn't even there, the guests weren't there...just the two of them focused on one another. It made you so badly want to be a part of their world...the love they shared. I paused for a moment when I discovered they had been together for years, because their love was so fresh, so fun. I was so grateful to share this day with them. It was one in a million!
