I had the honor to celebrate a special family vacation with some of my most cherished clients, The Reeves Family. I have photographed their daughter's weddings, the births of their grandchildren and some special family celebrations. When they called about a beach shoot in Amelia Island last week, there was no way I wasn't going to be there! We had the perfect night!
Lynn and David are one of my favorite couples. At every one of their children's wedding, their love shined brightly. It is a treat to see real love like theirs that has stood the test to time.
The Reeves children.
The whole family.
The next generation!
Thank you for a fabulous Tuesday evening. I love you guys!

In the lull of wedding season that we call August, Kelli and I spend time feverishly catching up with all the things that wait patiently while we provide exceptional service to our clients. I took some time to review the blog and boy, do I have some catching up to do. Prepare for an onslaught of weddings and portrait sessions. It is going to be fun.
Let's start with beautiful Crystal. She came to me late last year after searching endlessly for a photographer that she would "click with". She said that she was hedging her bets that we might have the answer to her photography dreams. I listened intently as she shared how she wanted to look that day, what she wanted her wedding to look like and the kind of experience she wanted her guests to have but most importantly, I listened to how she felt about Stephen. I thought to myself that the team of Joe and Hather would be perfect for her. Crystal spoke with Joe on the phone and that cemented the deal.
Crystal and Stephen tied the knot on the manicured grounds of Sea Palms in St. Simons Island and celebrated with a kickin' reception in the clubhouse. Joe didn't have much trouble creating great images...She is gorgeous but she smiled all day...in every shot. There is not an image with Crystal's gorgeous smile.
The final wedding of the spring/summer season was a hot one...but oh, it was a fun one. Tara and Jesse married in Charleston and I got to work with one of my favorite wedding planners, Ellen Robinson of W.E.D. Ellen and her team run a tight ship. She makes my job incredibly easy so I can only imagine how fabulous it is for a W.E.D. bride...talk about being a guest at your own wedding!
Tara and Jesse were so much fun with his penchant for cigars and her love of the dance floor. They never left one another's side which is quite a feat at a wedding with all your guests waiting or attention. They laughed all night long and I swear every time I scanned the room for them, they were stealing a kiss or sharing a secret. Just as it should be...
They had so many creative and cool touches.: A lounge on the patio roof, a cigar roller, punchy yellow florals with white feathers, delish cake and the best ever...Cold Stone Creamery bar. There was a line all night long.
